Online or computer based training can be very useful when it comes to certain OSHA topics, however when it comes to Arc Flash/ NFPA 70E-OSHA Electrical Safety Training- “Classroom” or “On-the-job” type training is required.
OSHA Requirements: Subpart S – Electrical Safety-Related Work Practices
Section 1910.332 (c) Type of Training. The training required by this section shall be of the classroom or on-the-job type.
NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace:
110.2 (B) Type of Training. The training required by this section shall be classroom or on-the-job type, or a combination of the two.
