NFPA 70E Facility Audit & Gap Analysis

The purpose of a gap analysis is to protect employees by identifying potential electrical hazards, minimize the loss of life and equipment, and assess compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and employer standards.

This service typically requires 1-2 days and includes:

  • An assessment of your facility based on NFPA 70E Standards for Electrical Safety in the Workplace
  • Inspection of the facility and equipment to identify gaps in labeling, markings, etc.
  • Interviews with selected employees
  • Audit and review of your Electrical Safety Programs, including Lockout / Tagout (LOTO)

A written report with recommendations for improvements is provided upon completion. This report will list out any gaps in NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace, including required labeling, documentation, policies, procedures, and safe work practices.

We’ll then make recommendations for the path forward to a safer workplace and compliance. Contact us to learn more.

Mock OSHA Electrical Safety Inspection & Audits

We offer mock OSHA inspections to identify potential weak areas of safety programs, trainings, documentation, and any other potential issues.

As experts in OSHA standards and procedures, we know exactly what to look for:

  • A thorough walk-through of your facility is performed, allowing us to determine physical violations
  • Employees are interviewed
  • OSHA-required programs are reviewed (e.g. written programs, work practices, record-keeping, employee work practices and environments)
  • All of this is evaluated to assess program status

Our safety audits often result in the identification of underlying currents. Give your company the chance to correct any issues before official OSHA visits or before other operations are affected.
